Muy buena la tira cómica… de hecho no hace más que constatar cómo nos ven los analistas internacionales… como un país con total libertad para tomar las decisiones que le vengan en gana, pues ya nadie nos toma en serio!
Aquí os pego un extracto del informe de riesgo de inversión solar que me actualizaron la semana pasada (lo siento, está en inglés).
Spain Has Already Been Conceded by Many Developers as a Low Impact Market
Despite the negative headlines that continue to roll in regarding the Spanish government’s consideration of retroactive cuts to its feed‐in‐tariff programs and much consternation and concern regarding the implications this may have on project finance sentiment and availability, our discussions with a number of integrators and developers throughout Europe suggest otherwise.
First, the negative policy developments in Spain seem to largely be considered by most developers as a one‐off anomaly likely contained to that market in particular, as it is really the only market where the feed‐in‐tariff burden falls directly to the national budget (due to the regulatory structure of its electricity market in which the government subsidizes electricity rates above a certain level, which almost invariably is below the premium feed‐in‐tariff rate).
Second, annual demand in the country has been decimated to such an extent following the 2008 boom, that it is no longer considered a central market that materially impacts industry demand. In sum, though negative headlines are never good for investor sentiment, we do not expect them to serve as a meaningful drag to project finance, industry demand, or pricing in the near future and now believe expectations are low enough that there is more room for upside than downside coming from this country.
